Urban Wildlife Conservation Assembly at LNCT World School Today, LNCT World School conducted an engaging and informative assembly on Urban Wildlife Conservation. The session began with Prayer and a thought-provoking speech highlighting the importance of protecting wildlife in urban areas, followed by interactive activities like a GK questions to raise awareness among students. In addition to these activities, we proudly distributed certificates to the winners of the Aryabhata Competition, recognizing their exceptional achievements. The assembly concluded with a special birthday celebration for one of our Class VIII students, adding a joyful touch to the event. Creativity is an art, the power of imagination of an illusionary world which everyone imagines in their own world.  Today, we had a glimpse of it at… *Fancy Dress Competition* *Theme: BEST OUT OF WASTE* *At LNCT World School, Bhopal* Our tiny tots of KG II performed their imagination into reality!  They taught us the importance of the very said line: “SOMEONE’S WASTE IS SOMEONE’S TREASURE….” All the lovely smiles with gracefully energetic walks, packed with full excitement, filled our hearts with joy and amazement! We congratulate our little bundles of joy for celebrating this so nicely and teaching us the lesson of creativity par excellence! Let’s all join our hands with devotion as our little ones of KG II students conducted a Special Assembly where they took us to a short journey of storytelling of Durga Swaroop Mahishasur Mardini connecting with the story of Dussehra Ravan Dahan by Mariyada Purushottam Ram…… continuing the celebration of Victory of Good over Evil they performed a dance connecting the story with the celebration….. Navratri & Dussehra Celebration at LNCT World School At LNCT World School, the vibrant festival of Navratri and the grand celebration of Dussehra were celebrated with immense enthusiasm and joy! The students of the primary section dressed in traditional attire brought a splash of color and festivity to the occasion. Why Navratri is Celebrated? Navratri is a nine-day festival dedicated to the worship of Goddess Durga. It symbolizes the triumph of good over evil and the victory of light over darkness. Each day of Navratri is associated with one of the nine forms of the Goddess, and during these days, devotees offer prayers and perform rituals. The festival also emphasizes the importance of inner strength and devotion. Why We Celebrate Dussehra? Dussehra celebrated on the tenth day after Navratri, marks the victory of Lord Rama over the demon king Ravana. This day symbolizes the triumph of good over evil and is a reminder that truth and righteousness always prevail. The burning of effigies of Ravana signifies the destruction of negativity and the celebration of positive values in life. Our young students enjoyed participating in the festivities, dressing up as mythological characters, and engaging in cultural performances. The energy during the Garba dance was infectious, and the school grounds echoed with excitement. It was heartening to see the students immerse themselves in the essence of the festival, learning the significance of these cultural traditions while having fun. This celebration not only filled our hearts with joy but also reinforced the timeless values of courage, devotion, and the ultimate victory of good over evil . May the triumph of good over evil in the epic of Ramayana inspire us to conquer our inner demons this Dussehra Special Assembly by Gulmohar House On Tuesday, 8th October, Gulmohar House at LNCT World School proudly celebrated the triumph of good over evil with an inspiring Dussehra event. The celebration commenced with a soulful rendition of the Ram Stuti , invoking divine blessings. A melodious song followed, capturing the essence of devotion and victory . The highlight of the event was the dramatic display of Ravana Vad , symbolizing Lord Ram’s conquest over Ravana, which left the audience in awe!  The Making of a Scientist – Celebrating Curiosity and Discovery Today, the enthusiastic LNCTIANS of Class X delved into the inspiring journey of Richard Ebright, as depicted in the lesson “The Making of a Scientist.” Through hands-on activities, students explored his path to becoming a renowned scientist, fueled by curiosity, dedication, and an unquenchable thirst for knowledge.  Activity 1: Students creatively traced Ebright’s fascinating journey through a Journey Map that highlighted key moments of his development.  Activity 2: Students constructed a “Quality Wall,” listing the traits that shaped his success, such as perseverance, keen observation, and critical thinking.  Garba Night 2024 at LNCT World School, Bhopal LNCT World School, Bhopal, hosted a vibrant Garba Night filled with energy, music, and dance! The evening started with a devotional Durga Puja and Aarti, setting the perfect tone for the celebration. Students, teachers, and staff came together in colorful traditional attire, dancing gracefully to the beats of Garba, bringing the festive spirit alive!  The event was a true celebration of culture, unity, and joy, creating unforgettable memories for all.
